In 1986 in Burbank, California, Jay Ohrberg’s team built an unusual car. It was the world’s longest car with a length of 18.28 meters. Meanwhile, owner Michael Manning sold the vehicle on eBay to a new owner who extended the car.
Earlier this month, the world’s longest car broke its own record, and the restoration took two years. The car is based on a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado limousines, and was restored by a Miami group led by Michael Dezer. This truly unusual car called The American Dream is now 30.54 meters long and can accommodate more than 70 passengers.
In addition to increasing the length, the car even has a swimming pool with control panel, jacuzzi, mini golf course, waterbed, TV sets, refrigerator and even a helipad. It also has a front and rear steering wheel, so it can be driven from both ends. The biggest problem is turning.
The restoration of the longest car in the world cost $ 250,000.
