FIAT is among the few car companies that have presented updated editions of their existing models these days. This time, the Turin company decided to undergo a refreshing treatment once again with the compact crossover model FIAT 500X.
At the front, above the one-piece radiator grille, instead of the current FIAT inscription, there is now a stylized number 500. For the European market, the crossover will be equipped with newly designed rims and will be offered in combination with soft-top (Dolcevita), which will be available with Cross and Sport equipment packages.
The basic equipment kit brings 16-inch alloy wheels and a Uconnect 4 multimedia system controlled via a 7-inch display, as standard.
When it comes to propulsion, the 500X will be powered by two turbocharged petrol engines (FireFly) with mild hybrid technology. These are the 1.0-liter FireFly Turbo engine with 120 hp (88 kW) and 140 lb-ft (190 Nm) of torque, and the 1.3-liter FireFly Turbo engine with 150 hp (110 kW) and 199 lb-ft (270 Nm) torque. The Stellantis group has already confirmed that the 500X will soon be offered in a fully electric version.
