Auction house Mecum has announced the sale of the 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo from the movie “Bad Boys”. The car was driven by actor Will Smith, and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a Movie Certificate of Authenticity.
It is equipped with a rear spoiler, air conditioning, radio cassette player, sunroof, 5-spoke speedline aluminum wheels, and it is finished in Black with Black leather interior. Director Michael Bay, who owned the car, sold it to producer Pat Sandstone, and then in 2005 it was bought by the current owner. Also, Porsche was part of the Matthew Drendel collection between 2008 and 2014.
It is powered by a turbocharged 3.6L 6-cylinder engine with 355 hp (265 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with 17-inch rims wrapped in 205 / 50R17 (front) and 225 / 45R17 (rear) tires. The car is in excellent condition with 34,396 miles (55,355 kilometers).
The car is expected to reach a high price, especially due to the fact that a similar unit (without any certificates) was sold last year for 275,000 euros. The extremely rare Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 X88 has been sold for $ 439,099.
