In 2004 at the Paris Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled the successor to the 360 model, the Ferrari F430. Designed by Pininfarina, the body style has been revised compared to its predecessor, to improve its aerodynamic efficiency. It was produced until 2009 and one of them with only 2,900 miles, a 2008 Ferrari F430, is for sale.
The F430 is powered by a 4.3-liter F136 V8 engine with 483 hp (360 kW) and 343 lb-ft (465 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. It reaches 60 in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h). It is mounted on 19-inch Challenge wheels, secured with titanium lug nuts, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and is in excellent condition. It is rarely driven, which is also shown by the low mileage. It is equipped with xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fenders, quad exhaust tips that exit from both sides of the rear diffuser, red-finished brake calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors.
Inside, the bucket seats are covered in tan leather, while the door panels, steering wheel and dashboard are covered in black leather with contrasting red stitching. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, drilled aluminum pedals, a Ferrari-branded stereo, and power windows and locks.
The Ferrari F430 comes with invoices, keys, literature, tools, a battery charger and a diamond-pattern floor covering. It has a clean Carfax report that shows no accidents or other damage.
The auction ends on December 7th and the current highest bid is $101,000 USD.
