The corona virus pandemic and the strike are the reasons for the delays in the delivery of the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette. That’s why Chevrolet has made a waiting list. Chevrolet has announced good news for the 95-year-old World War II veteran. Because of his merits in the war, Bobbie Carson was moved to eighth place on the waiting list and already got his car.
As a big Corvette fan who has had seven models so far, this will be his eighth model. The white car was delivered to him at the National Corvette Museum just 30 days after he ordered it.
The Chevrolet Corvette will be powered by a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine with 495 hp (364 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. This makes it the most powerful production of Stingray ever. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that transmits power to the rear wheels. Reaches 62 mph in 3 seconds with a top speed of 194 mph (312 km / h).
The average life expectancy in the U.S. is 77.8 years, and Carson at 95 looks very good. His cars are not parked in the garage. He drives them every day in Georgia, and so it will be with the new one.
