Although the 2022 Maserati Grecale was supposed to be unveiled last year, which did not happen due to well-known reasons for the lack of microchips, it will happen at the end of March this year. It will be the second Maserati crossover, which will find its place below the Levante model.
Maserati announced the arrival of Grecale with teasers that reveal the design of this car. During testing, Grecale was covered in camouflage, which did not hide much. The front grille with the Maserati logo is something that is standard on every Maserati model. There are also large front brake discs and calipers. The shape of the rear of the vehicle with four exhaust pipes is also reminiscent of a larger Levante SUV.
When it comes to the powertrain, there is no information. It is assumed that it could use a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 621 hp (457 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque, from the Maserati MC20. Some rumors say it could also be a 2.9-liter V6 engine with 505 hp (371 kW) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque, from the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. Also, Maserati intends to offer an electric version, but so far there is no confirmation.
