At the beginning of the year, each company sums up its business results from the previous year. Some made a small profit, some made a loss, but there are also those that can boast of record sales. One of them is Rolls-Royce, which delivered over 6,000 vehicles worldwide in the past year.
Since it was founded in 1904, Rolls-Royce has never achieved a sales result like in 2022, when a total of 6,021 vehicles were delivered. The Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe, as well as the United States, recorded the highest sales growth. The United States remained the largest market for the British brand, while the Chinese market has now become the second largest for Rolls-Royce. The Goodwood-based company also achieved record sales in the UK and Germany.
Maybe the number of 6k vehicles sold for the year is low, but if we consider that customers paid an average of $500,000 for their new car, we can say that Rolls-Royce enjoyed the demand and sales results.
When it comes to individual sales, the Cullinan maintained its position as the brand’s best-selling model, followed by the Ghost, which was the best-selling model in the Asia-Pacific region. Rolls-Royce is also proud to say that demand for the Spectre, its first all-electric production model, is currently exceeding its expectations, but there is no detailed information on the number of reservations made so far. The first deliveries of the ultra-luxury EV to customers are scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.
Also, 2021 was a successful year for Rolls-Royce. That year, the British company sold 5,586 cars.
