At the Goodwood Festival of Speed to be held later this month, Bentley will unveil the new Flying Spur S, which will be offered with two powertrain options.
The luxury sedan is adorned with several elements on which chrome has been replaced by black, which adorns the exclusive 22-inch alloy wheels under which huge red brake calipers can be seen. Inside, the seats are upholstered in a combination of black and red with red stitching, and the seat backs are adorned with the red letter S.
When it comes to propulsion, customers will be offered two options. The first is a standard 4-liter biturbo V8 engine with 550 hp (405 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. That’s enough power to push the car to 62 mph in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 198 mph (319 km / h). The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all wheels.
Another option is a 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine assisted by an electric motor with a total power of 544 hp (400 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to both axles via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 4.3 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds less than the more powerful version, with a top speed of 177 mph (285 km / h).177 mph (285 km / h).
