Toyota has launched a refreshed version of the Corolla Cross. It is a compact crossover SUV that debuted in 2020, and now comes with a touch of sporty spirit.

The refreshed Corolla Cross has a honeycomb front grille, modified headlights, an LED light strip, new rear lights, small fins that improve stability and aerodynamic performance. It is mounted on a set of redesigned 18-inch wheels. There is also a GR Sport package on offer, which includes a redesigned front bumper and radiator grille like the one on the current GR Corolla, and 19-inch black wheels in an exclusive Storm Gray color. The suspension has been lowered by 10 mm and tuned for a sportier handling. Power steering has been tuned, and new gearshift paddles are standard equipment. Drivers also get a choice of two new modes: Snow and Snow Extra.

The interior has also undergone some changes. It is equipped with a larger center console, a new gear lever, a wireless smartphone charger, a new 10.5-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

When it comes to the powertrain, there have been no changes. European buyers will still be able to choose from two hybrid powertrain options. The first option is the Hybrid 140 powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor for a total of 140 hp. For those who want more power, the Hybrid 200 option is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor for a total of 200 hp.

The refreshed Toyota Corolla Cross will be available in Europe from the summer.
