At the 1931 Paris Motor Show, Bugatti introduced the sports car Bugatti Type 55. It was produced until 1935, and in its honor the Italian brand presented a special example of the Chiron Super Sport marked “55 1 of 1”.

Like the original model from the 30s, the Super Sport model is also finished in a combination of black and yellow. At the front, there is a black grille frame, while the Chiron also got black ten-spoke wheels with yellow EB emblems. The rear wing is also painted in black and yellow and contains the inscription “55 1 of 1” on the lower part.

“From a distance, the ’55’ pattern ensures that the fenders appear black, just like on the original car,” said Jascha Straub, manager of Sur Mesure and Individualization at Bugatti.

The same color combination continues in the interior of this unique car. The seats are upholstered in a combination of black leather and Alcantara with yellow stitching and embroidered “55 1 of 1” on the head rest. Leather covers the dash and center console while Alcantara covers the door panels. There are also plenty of carbon details, and special door sill plates signed by Jean Bugatti.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is powered by an 8.0-L W16 quad-turbo engine with 1,600 hp (1,193 kW) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to all wheels. The top speed is 440 km/h (273 mph).
