The American company Renntech is known for performance modifications of Mercedes-AMG cars, and this time it presented a limited edition AMG GT63 RIIIx based on one of the most powerful cars of the Stuttgart-based company, the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S 4-Door Coupé.

The car is powered by a 4.0L V8 engine with more than 1,196 hp (880 kW) and 927 lb-ft (1,257 Nm) of torque. This significant increase in power compared to the most powerful GT63 S 4-Door Coupé (843 hp /620 kW) is achieved thanks to new turbochargers, a new air intake system, a remapped ECU and a better adaptive exhaust system. That’s enough power to push the car to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.6 seconds, while the top speed is unknown.

The RIIIx Performance Package brings Stainless Steel Downpipes, 200 Cell Sport Catalytic Converters downpipes, BMC air filters designed to last longer and create more power than the OEM paper filters, Stainless Steel Sport Mufflers, an upgraded intercooler, and upgraded brakes. It’s mounted on 21 and 22-inch reinforced Renntech RPS 10.2 alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

When it comes to price, the RIIIx Performance Package costs 89,000 euros.
