2026 Rivian R3

The American electric vehicle manufacturer and automotive technology and outdoor recreation company, Rivian, revealed two new cars, the R2 and R3. These are fully electric cars that should reach the market in 2026.

This company was founded in 2009 and mainly sold its cars on the American market. Now Rivian wants to expand its business to the currently most active and desirable world car market, Europe.

Rivian R3 has a design that is characteristic of all Rivian vehicles. In addition to the already known design elements, there are plastic protective elements, handles that slide into the door and various black decorative details. Also, the wheelbase of 2,800 millimeters is shorter than that of the Rivian R2 model. The interior is equipped with a digital instrument panel, a large central display, and comfortable seats. It should be noted that this model comes with a panoramic roof.

When it comes to technical specifications, the R3 will be offered with one, two or even three electric motors, two battery options and will have a range of almost 500 kilometers.

1960 Porsche 356B Super 90 is up for auction

All examples of Porsche’s first production car, regardless of version, are extremely sought after and fetch high prices at auctions. Even those that have been converted into race cars like this 1960 Porsche 356B Super 90 coupe that is up for auction.

This 356B Super 90 is powered by a FAT Performance-sourced 2,650cc flat-four that was installed two years ago. During the work on the car, a 911-specification cooling fan, dual Weber carburetors, and a Vintage Speed stainless-steel exhaust were installed, and this year the wiring harness and fuel tank were replaced. The engine is mated to a replacement four-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. It is mounted on Minilite 15″ wheels wrapped in 205/60 Yokohama Avid Ascend tires.

The car left the factory in Heron Gray and at the beginning of the century, Emory Motorsports converted it into a racing car, and repainted it in a shade of blue. The fenders have been removed, and the equipment includes LED teardrop taillights, mirrors faired into the fenders, white roundels, outlaw-style door handles, leather bonnet straps, Koni Classic shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and an Emory Outlaw badge on the decklid.

Inside, Fibersteel Speedster-style bucket seats, trimmed in black with blue plaid inserts, are mounted on powder-coated GT frames. The upper part of the dash and the door panels are covered in red leather, while the metal surfaces are finished in blue. In front of the driver are a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel and a five-digit odometer showing 24,668 miles (total mileage unknown). Additional equipment includes Simpson lap belts, a roll bar, and a Compass Industries stopwatch in front of the Emory-fabricated shifter housing.

The car comes with a Porsche Certificate, service records, and a clean Arizona title listing the car as a 1961 model.

The auction ends on March 12 and the highest bid at the time of writing was $165,000 USD.

2025 Škoda Elroq

Last year Škoda announced the arrival of the successor to the Karoq model, an electric compact crossover called the Elroq. It is part of the plan in which the Czech manufacturer intends to unveil six electric cars by 2026, with a total investment of 5.6 billion euros. The car was announced with a short video, and the premiere will take place on March 15.

The video shows the silhouette of the SUV with distinctive LED daytime running lights and an illuminated Skoda logo adorning the hood. It will be 4.5 meters long and “an ideal family car with a spacious and very practical interior”.

With this model, Škoda is trying to compete with the Peugeot E-3008 and the upcoming all-electric successors of the Citroen C5 Aircross and Opel Grandland. Both models are expected this year.

Other models expected to arrive by 2026 are an electric SUV that will share a platform with the upcoming Volkswagen ID.2, a refreshed Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe, a new station wagon and a seven-seat SUV, similar in size to the Kodiaq.
