Destroyed a Lamborghini Urus to promote an energy drink

Many will say that good marketing is the key to success, but the question is what will someone do to stand out from the crowd. Obviously the craziest things. Thus, Mikhail Litvin recently published a video on his YouTube channel of destroying a Lamborghini Urus, worth more than 250,000 euros, to pieces. The reason is promotion of his energy drinks.

Soon after its release, the video went viral, garnering more than 7 million views and over 700,000 likes on YouTube. The video shows a huge can of his drink being held up in the air by a crane. Placed right under the large can is a white Lamborghini Urus, and a few seconds later, the can falls on top of the car, completely destroying it.

The video garnered a lot of comments. Many of them criticized this type of promotion: “It’s sad to live in a time when people are enthusiastic about such things. People are trying to save others from under the ruins, the whole world is helping, and everything seems to be stable in Russia. I imagine what people will do in front of the review cameras 5 years from now.” “I wish you had donated the money to a charity or environmental cause. Good human beings don’t behave like you. The amount of money you spent on this car could have saved 3, 4 or more lives.”

There were also those who supported him: “In general, handsome, you create for everyone, work, but do not forget to live for yourself! don’t give in to anyone, never destroy your fucking dreams.”; “For me, this was the top content, in which you moved to a new level, keep it up.”

New Porsche 911 GT2 RS coming soon

Every now and then, Porsche gives us new information about the cars that we can expect in the near future. Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Porsche announces the arrival of the powerful 911 (992) GT2 RS in 2026. It has become a tradition that Porsche always offers the most powerful and fastest version of the current generation of its most popular car at the end of the story.

Although there is not much information, it is known that the new Porsche 911 (992) GT2 RS will be powered by a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder biturbo engine, from the current generation 911 Turbo, in combination with an electric motor. This means that the total power will be more than 700 hp, and more power means more torque compared to its predecessor (991 Series).

The company says the 400-volt hybrid system will be even more advanced than the one that powers the racing 963 LMDh. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch (PDK) transmission.

It is quite certain that Porsche will soon offer a hybrid system in combination with the base versions of this model, which confirms the electrification of super sports cars before completely abandoning the internal combustion engine.

Will internal combustion engines remain until 2040?

In the past few years, most of the world’s car manufacturers have announced the end of the use of internal combustion engines and the transition to fully electric cars by 2030. However, there are frequent rumors that ICE could remain in use for the next 10 years. The main reason for this is the bad infrastructure.

Internal combustion engines will go away sooner or later, and there are many who say that current plans to end the production of internal combustion engine cars are overambitious, unrealistic and counterproductive. Honda Motor Co. CEO Toshihiro Mibe shares this view. He said that the full transition to electric cars requires a much more developed battery charging infrastructure than the existing one. He also said that the development of the infrastructure, which will be accessible to all, needs much more time than the time mentioned in the earlier plans.

At Honda, they are working hard on transportation solutions that are based on full electrification. Together with the company LG Energy, they signed an agreement to build a facility for the production of batteries in the USA, and production should start in two years. Last fall, they partnered with Sony, with whom they will produce electric cars from 2026.

Will such views change the plans of decision-makers and extend the use of internal combustion engines for several years, we will see.
