First Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate sold for 750,000 CHF

At the beginning of the year, Aston Martin unveiled the limited edition Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate, and the first example of this car was sold at the Action Innocence Charity Gala for CHF 750,000 (over EUR 761,000).

It is the most powerful car from the DBS generation of all time, with which, as it seems, Aston Martin is discontinuing the production of the DBS model, at least with the performance as we know it now. It is equipped with improved steering that is now more precise, calibrated suspension and a stiffer chassis. There’s also a new front splitter, carbon details, windshield frame, side mirror housings and fender vents, new carbon side skirts and a unique rear diffuser.

The 770 Ultimate is powered by a 5.2-liter V12 biturbo engine with 759 hp (558 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h). Better intake and ignition increased preload pressure by seven percent. Also, the engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed gearbox and a mechanical limited slip differential. It is mounted on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Aston Martin 770 Ultimate will be produced in 499 copies, of which 300 coupes and 199 Volante versions. Prices have not been publicly announced, and it is known that the first deliveries are expected in the summer.

BMW expands the range of body colors for the XM model

BMW Individual has always taken care of its wealthy customers who are willing to pay extra for a car that will stand out from the standard. Now they have decided to offer BMW XM owners four additional body colors (Urban Green, Anglesey Green Metallic, Petrol Mica and Sepia), which will be available from April.

Urban Green is a shade of green reminiscent of the color on military vehicles, while a darker shade of green, Anglesey Green Metallic, is reminiscent of the British Racing Green used by Aston Martin and Jaguar racing cars. There are also two special metallic colors, Petrol Mica and Sepia. BMW also reminds that the process of applying all these colors is significantly longer compared to the rest of the range.

The BMW XM is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 engine assisted by an electric motor with a total output of 650 hp (478 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to both axles via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car weighs 2,700 kg but that doesn’t stop it from reaching 62 mph in just 4.3 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

Pit26 Motorsports G63

Everyone knows that Americans love pick-ups, and the Southern Californian company Pit26 Motorsports has prepared a truly unique pick-up based on the Mercedes G-Class, the G63.

The G-Class is an outstanding off-road car, and the engineers at Pit26 Motorsports have done their best to make it even better. The wheel track was widened and the floor, thanks to the suspension components developed by the Bilstein company, was raised by 22 centimeters. Each car will be personalized according to the wishes and needs of the clients.

The chassis has been extended by 50 centimeters, which ensures enough space for a luxuriously equipped cabin that can accommodate five people. Behind the second row of seats there is an open cargo space at the end of which the spare wheel is placed. A total of 1,100 working hours were spent on the development and production of the car, which cost about $390,000.

When it comes to the powertrain, Pit26 Motorsports hasn’t changed anything. The G63 is powered by a 4.0L biturbo V8 engine with 585 hp (430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. It is mounted on large 18- or 20-inch reinforced Toyo wheels.
