New Hyundai Elantra N for 2022

As we announced earlier this month, Hyundai has introduced the new Elantra N for 2022.

The Hyundai N division has taken a step forward compared to the previous model. The Elantra N is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 276 hp and 289 lb-ft of torque. In addition to the manual 6-speed transmission, the new Elantra will also be offered with an automatic 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, and front-wheel drive. The available engine power allows the car to reach 62 mph in 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).

The Elantra is equipped with a new adjustable suspension, electronically controlled limited differential lock (ELSD), 245 / 35ZR 19 Michelin Pilot 4S tires and 360 mm brake discs for better stopping, and red brake calipers. Thanks to Hyundai’s N Grin Shift (NGS) system, the car gets an extra 10 hp for shorter distances.

The Elantra comes in the distinctive Performance Blue. Inside, the seats are lowered by 10 mm, which provides a better connection between the driver and the vehicle. They are made of the best materials, with additional support for the driver. A lot of N branding can be seen inside, reminding us that this is no ordinary vehicle.

Lexus RX L Black Line

For 2022, Lexus has prepared a limited edition RX L model. Only 495 units of the Lexus RX L Black Line will be produced, of which 389 units will be gas-powered and 106 hybrids.

In an effort to increase interest in this three-row SUV, Lexus has offered a limited edition. The package includes various improvements based on customer feedback. It comes in two basic colors Cloudburst Gray and Eminent White Pearl, while the grille, bumpers, mirrors and 20-inch set of tires are all made in black.

Inside, the dark theme continues. The seats are upholstered in black leather with blue contrast stitches. The stitches are continuing on the steering wheel, instrument panel, center console and transmission. There are also black floor mats and cargo mats.

This joins the seven-seater RX L Black Line to previous Black Line NX, UX, GS, IS and ES models. The 350L is priced at $ 53,055, while the 450hL will cost slightly more, $ 56,315. If you are interested in any of the models, given the limited number, you will have to hurry with the purchase.

OPEL ASTRA – NEW GENERATION OF PHEV MODELS

From Opel comes an improved version of the eighth generation Astra and will be offered with diesel and gasoline engines with two plug-in hybrid options.

The new Astra will use the platform recently introduced on the third generation Peugeot 308. Larger in size than its predecessor, the new Astra has a 13 mm longer wheelbase. The old grille was replaced with a black plate. New LED headlights have also been installed, which can be upgraded to Vauxhall’s Intellilux items.

Inside, the cabin has been redesigned. On the dashboard, there is a large central touch screen through which most functions are performed, while some controls are kept under the touch screen and on the steering wheel. Thanks to the increase in size, the car also has a larger trunk volume, which now stands at 422 liters.

The new Astra will be offered with petrol and diesel engines, and customers will be able to count on two “plug in” hybrid options. The petrol 1.2 Turbo engine will produce 110 hp or 130 hp, while the diesel 1.2 four-cylinder engine will deliver 130 hp.

PHEV options come with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 150 hp or 180 hp combined with a 110 hp electric motor. The electric motor is powered by a 12.4 kWh lithium ion battery that provides a range of 31 miles. Thanks to the 7.4 kW charger, the battery can be charged in less than two hours.
