A mechanical issue on Tesla Model 3 caused the death of one person

Recently, more and more Tesla vehicles are involved in traffic accidents. One such happened recently when Tesla Model 3 suddenly stopped on the highway, causing a collision of several vehicles, which resulted in the death of one person.

The accident happened on I-70 Highway east of Kansas City. According to a police report, the Model 3 stopped suddenly, after which two oncoming cars hit the vehicle. For now, there is no information on what could be the cause of the Tesla Model 3 shutdown. Some information says that a mechanical issue could be the reason for the loss of power and stopping.

U.S. authorities recently launched an investigation following reports of a braking problem that occurred on a number of Tesla cars. According to some owners, their cars unexpectedly activated the brakes for no reason.

Tesla has faced major vehicle problems in the past, such as a safety problem earlier this year. Then 19-year-old David Colombo announced on his twitter profile that he used API keys and third-party software to gain access to Tesla’s vehicles. “Regarding what I’m able to do with these Tesla’s now. This includes disabling Sentry Mode, opening the doors / windows and even starting Keyless Driving. I could also query the exact location, see if a driver is present and so on The list is quite long. I think it’s pretty dangerous, if someone is able to remotely blast music on full volume or open the windows / doors while you are on the highway. Even flashing the lights non-stop can potentially have some (dangerous ) impact on other drivers, “Colombo said.

It has long been speculated that the new 911 Carrera will be powered by a 4.0-liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with 394 hp (289 kW) and 309 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. It is an engine from the current 718 GTS. However, in an interview with Car Expert, board member Frank-Steffen Walliser said that would not happen. The current Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine with 385 hp (283 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque, the base version. Reaches 60 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 182 mph (293 kph). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), which enables incredibly swift gear changes without interrupting the flow of power. It is equipped with double wishbone suspension on the front, carbon ceramic brakes, and 19/20 inch wheels with 235 / 40ZR19 (front) and 295 / 35ZR20 (rear) Pirelli tires.
