Michael Schumacher is considered the greatest driver in the history of Formula 1. Everything related to him attracts a lot of attention, including this Ferrari F300 car with which Schumacher lost the 1998 Formula 1 World Championship.

Formula 1 has had several amazing eras, and among the best is certainly the one with V10 engines. That was the period when Michael Schumacher was driving for Ferrari, and his 1998 Ferrari F300 car is now up for sale. It is a private sale, and the owner set the price at 4.9 million dollars.

Formula 1 fans will remember that Schumacher was in pole position at the Luxembourg Grand Prix, while Mika Hakkinen in McLaren-Mercedes was in position three. However, the winner was a Finn, thus securing a dramatic fight for the title at the Japanese GP.

On November 1, at the Japanese GP, Schumacher achieved pole position with the same car. During the race, due to the remains of other cars on the track, the tire on his car broke and he had to leave the race. That was the moment when the celebration in Mika Hakkinen’s team could begin. The Finn won the race and secured the F1 world title.

The Ferrari F300 is powered by a 3.0-liter V10 engine with 805 hp (592 kW). It is equipped with carbon-carbon composite discs, electro-hydraulic 7-speed transmission, 13 ”Bridgestone tires, independent push-rod, twin wishbones, torsion bar springs, Belville washer, telescopic shock absorbers and anti-roll bar.
