Between 1959 and 1963, Porsche produced the second iteration of the 356, the Porsche 356B. 30,963 cars left the production line, of which 2,902 were Roadsters and one of them, a 1960 Porsche 356B Roadster was recently sold for $235,000 USD.

This 356B Roadster is powered by a replacement 1.9 912-sourced flat-four engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. At the beginning of the year, a service was done at OTTO Werks, which included adjusting the valves, replacing the valve cover gaskets, and changing the oil.

The car was refurbished between 2007 and 2011, and at that time the body was repainted in black, and the interior was reupholstered in red leather by Autos International in Escondido, California. It is equipped with revised front-end styling, including raised bumpers and headlights along with a redesigned front trunk lid handle, and finned drum brakes at each corner. The five-digit odometer reads 1,694 miles.

This beautiful example of a Porsche 356B Roadster is mounted on a set of 15″ vented steel wheels wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.

Along with the car, the buyer received a Porsche certificate of authenticity showing the original colors and powertrain numbers, a copy of the Kardex, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean Arizona title.
