Porsche 911 Turbo modified in 993 GT2 style

Bring a Trailer has announced the sale of a 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo modified in the 993 GT2 style. The current owner bought it six years ago, and it has only 42,000 miles on the odometer. It is a real number, it is not known.

Modifications were made by Virtuoso Performance in 2016, for the amount of 125,000 dollars. The car is painted yellow, and now the style is reminiscent of. It is equipped with a new bumper, Bilstein dampers, adjustable rear fenders, integrated fog lights, electric sunroof, rear window wiper, larger intercoolers, a large diameter exhaust and 911GT badging.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in black leather which can also be seen on the door panels, instrument panel and center console. There are also Alcantara-wrapped MOMO steering wheel, black floor mats with yellow Porsche embroidery, cruise control, Alpine CD stereo, an RS gear lever and shift fork, as well as automatic climate control.

The Porsche 911 Turbo is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential, which transmits power to all wheels. It is mounted on multi-piece 18-inch Speedline wheels wrapped in 235/40 (front) and 295/30 (rear) Michelin Pilot Sport N4 tires. The brake pads were replaced, while the brake calipers were rebuilt.

The car comes with original documentation and a clean Carfax report.

1965 Shelby Cobra Diamond Edition lighter than ever

Since its appearance in 1962, the Shelby Cobra has gained legendary status, and the 1965 model stands out in particular. The company Classic Recreations made a replica of this model, whose body is made of carbon and weighs only 40 kilograms (88 pounds).

The base Cobra weighs 2,204 pounds (1,000 kg), and how much Classic Recreations will reduce the weight of the ‘Diamond Edition,’ is not known. The Oklahoma-based company will make just 10 examples of this model that can only be used on the track.

Classic Recreations founder Jason Angel proudly pointed out that he learned a lot from the selfless creator of the original Cobra, Carol Shelby (who always insisted on more power in the lightest car) whose signature will adorn the cabin of this replica.

The Shelby Cobra Diamond Edition will be powered by a third-generation Ford’s 5.0-liter V8 engine with 800 hp (588 kW). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed Tremec T56 manual transmission. The car will be equipped with Wilwood brakes that will ensure safe braking and stopping.

When it comes to price, the Shelby Cobra Diamond Edition won’t be cheap at all. The price is set at 1.2 million dollars.

2004 Renault Clio V6 sold for 108,500 EUR

Popular and rare cars are often sold at auctions for big money, but when Renault does that, it’s a real surprise. Recently auctioned, the 2004 Renault Clio V6 reached a price of € 108,500 (£ 90,000). One of the reasons is that this is one of only five produced examples with a steering wheel on the right.

The car is in excellent condition and comes with all the original documentation. This model is extremely rare. It is the 21st that is finished in Acid Yellow, and is one of 18 equipped with the Complete Leather Pack which cost £ 3,900. Inside, the seats are upholstered in leather that can also be seen on the door panels, steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake.

The Clio V6 is equipped with Trophy ignition coils, a Janspeed rear box and a BMC-CDA induction kit with silicone hoses, to release more engine power and increase reliability.

Renault Clio V6 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.0 liter V6 engine with 255 hp (188 kW). Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Reaches 62 mph in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 153 mph (246 km / h). The car has only 17,270 miles (27,790 km) on the odometer, and had only one owner who bought it from Renault UK.
