2023 Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar

Although the current WEC season is underway, some teams are preparing for the next one. Thus, Cadillac announced the design of a new race car with which it will compete in the IMSA championship, in the LMDh class, from next season, and it is the Project GTP Hypercar.

The car is currently in the testing phase and will have its premiere at the 24 Hours Daytone IMSA Championship race in January 2023. The company has confirmed that the hybrid GTP Hypercar car will also take part in the WEC 24 Hours of Le Mans championship next year.

It is known that the Project GTP Hypercar, whose chassis was developed by Dallara, will be powered by a hybrid drivetrain with a 5.5-liter V8 engine. Cadillac expects that the car, whose body detail design is reminiscent of passenger cars, will be a serious opponent in the first season.

Cadillac will not be the only company to announce its participation in endurance races in the LMDh class. Porsche has also prepared its LMDh race car. Porsche LMDh is powered by a turbocharged V8 engine combined with an electric motor with a total power of 670 hp (493 kW), because according to current regulations, the car’s power must not exceed 680 hp (500 kW).

Nardone Porsche 928

Restomod cars are becoming increasingly popular and Nardone Automotive, with the assistance of the Borromeo / Da Silva design team, has prepared a modified Porsche 928 that was produced from 1978 to 1995. It is designed to, at some point, replace the immortal 911.

“The elegance and the class of the 928 are the reasons why I’ve been obsessed with this car since an early age. Ignored by many, once you drive it you never go back! This combined with my passion for the restomod movement gave me the idea to create a perfect little sister for all the beautiful 911 resto’s out there. The Porsche 928 is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine with 400 hp (298 kW) which is 50 hp more than the most powerful Porsche 928 which had 350 hp (257 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a six-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. For a note, the standard 928 is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Nardone Porsche 928 is equipped with adaptive suspension, significantly larger rims made in a retro design, carbon body panels, LED lights and a modern multimedia system compatible with various applications.

The first copies will hit the market in 2024, and will be premiered at the Goodwood Speed ​​Festival in the UK starting on June 23rd.

AC Schnitzer celebrates 35 years of tuning BMW cars

One of the best tuners of BMW cars celebrates 35 years. It is a German tuner company, AC Schnitzer, which is successfully making BMW cars better, and this time it has prepared a special “35 Years” Upgrade.

The story begins in 1987 when the tuner began improving BMW, Mini and Toyota vehicles. The quality of their work is evidenced by the fact that their vehicles were often chosen as the car of the year in sports magazines.

All accessories are available for a range of different models, the BMW 3 Series Touring, 4 Series Convertible and 5 Series. The white 3 Series in the photos also got a front splitter, new sills and 35 Years stickers, while the 3 Series Touring has two different rim sets that additionally improves the look.

The 4 Series is equipped with the same equipment as the 3 Series station wagon version which includes a new front splitter, sills and stickers, as well as the same set of rims.

The 5 Series has received the most improvements, and in addition to the new splitter and sills, it also has redesigned front spoiler elements.
