2021 was the best year for Rolls Royce

Although the crisis has shaken the automotive industry in 2021, British Rolls-Royce does not seem to be concerned. What so ever, it seems that last year was very successful because they achieved the best result in the long history, when it comes to sales.

Rolls Royce, which has been owned by BMW for many years, announced that in 2021 it achieved sales growth of almost 50 percent compared to 2020. In 2021, the British company sold 5,586 cars.

And for 2022, expectations are high. According to statements from Rolls Royce, they managed to sell the planned production for the next nine months. For the second half of the year, the presentation of the new electric model Spectre EV is planned. The car is currently in the testing phase, and although it was announced Rolls Royce will not use the BMW platform, but its aluminum platform introduced in 2017, used by the Ghost and Cullinan models.

January 31 is approaching, the day when Škoda will present its new car, the ENYAQ Coupé iV. It is a fully electric model that should be a competitor to the Volkswagen model ID.5. Due to the Coupé shape, the volume of luggage space will be slightly smaller, but still enough 570 liters.

Škoda will offer customers a basic version with one electric motor that will be powered by a 62 kWh battery or a stronger version with two electric motors that will be powered by an 82 kWh battery. The future of Volvo sedans and caravans

Although demand for SUVs and crossovers is increasing year by year, Volvo has no intention of giving up production of its sedans and caravans. Rumors said that the current S / V60 and S / V90 models would soon be replaced by a new generation, but the management of the Swedish car company revealed that the new models will have a slightly different design.

With a more rounded body and generally even more attractive appearance, it will strive to retain existing customers but also attract potential customers who have not yet decided to buy a crossover or SUV model.

The company also announced that it will expand the existing offer of XC models and significantly increase the production of electric models, which by 2025 should account for 50 percent of their total production.
