2004 Porsche Carrera GT is for sale

The price of used cars has increased, but so has the demand, so every now and then we come across some of them with low mileage. Such is the case with the 2004 Porsche Carrera GT listed on Bring a Trailer.

Carrera GT is powered by a mid-mounted liquid-cooled 5.7-liter V10 engine with 605 hp (445 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 435 lb-ft (590 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The car is in excellent condition with a clean Carfax, and has the original GT Silver Metallic paint on the carbon body. It is equipped with an electronically actuated rear spoiler, removable roof panels, rear diffuser, clutch rotors and brakes made of ceramic composites. It is mounted on a set of 19 and 20 inch forged magnesium rims wrapped in 265/35 (front) and 335/30 (rear) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in Ascot Brown leather, with black accents, which can also be seen on the door panels, dashboard, A-pillars and center console. There’s also air conditioning, electric windows, electric and heated side mirrors and a Porsche Online Pro CD stereo, as well as plenty of magnesium, carbon fiber and aluminum parts.

The Porsche Carrera GT has just 1,300 miles (2,092 km) on the odometer and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service records and a clean Washington title. The car currently has a bid of $1,500,000 and the auction ends in 7 days.

1973 BMW 2002 Targa will be sold at auction

In the early 70s, the director of product planning, Helmut Werner Bönsch, and the designer of the M10 engine, Alex von Falkenhausen, proposed to BMW a 2.0L version of the BMW 1600-2 model. This is how the BMW 2002 Targa was born. BMW produced only 2,317 examples of this model and one of them, the 1973 BMW 2002 Targa, will soon be sold at auction.

Pebble Beach Auctions has announced the sale of this rare car that has only 62,229 kilometers on the odometer and is in perfect condition. The car is painted green, and the bodywork was made by the Baur company from Stuttgart. Baur used the 2002 model as a base, and the upper part of the roof was cut off to create a convertible. However, the roof is there and can be pulled out if needed.

The BMW 2002 Targa is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with 100 hp (75 kW). The engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission that transmits power to the rear wheels.

When it comes to price, it is estimated that the car could be sold for 55k – 65k dollars.

1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 owned by Paul Walker is for sale

Last month we wrote that the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R driven by Paul Walker in “Fast and Furious” is for sale. Now another car associated with this famous actor has appeared on sale, but this time from his private collection. It is a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7.

It all started back in 1973 when the Carrera RS 2.7 had its premiere and was named after 356 Carrera while the RS was developed to meet the homologation requirements in motorsport. Only 1,580 cars were produced. In order to meet the sporty characteristics, which meant a reduction in weight below 1000 kg, thin steel and thinner glass were used in the construction of the car. All this resulted in the many victories that Carrera RS achieved in the FIA races of Group 4.

The car was designed with a larger body that allowed more space for a larger engine compared to the previous 911 models, which now developed 210 hp (150 kW). It is equipped with new suspension, wider rear wheels and rear fenders for 185 / 70VR15 (front) and 215 / 60VR15 (rear) Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires. For better aerodynamics and greater downforce, the designers have designed a duck tail. All this allowed the Carrera RS 2.7 to reach 62 mph in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 152 mph (245 km/h).

This Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.7L flat 6-cylinder engine with 210 hp (150 kW). The car is in excellent condition with only 58,268 miles (93,774 km) on the odometer. It is painted in Light Yellow–code 62 color with Black accents, and it is decorated with chrome parts on the windows and headlights. Comes with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and FIA paperwork.

The auction will take place on August 18-20.
