Elvis Presley’s Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham is up for sale

Elvis Presley is the most famous singer of the 70s, and there are many fans who would like to own something that belonged to him. Well, one of his cars was offered for sale. It is a Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, and the auction will take place in Sweden.

Presley had several hundred Cadillac models during his lifetime. The car was purchased as new in 1974, and is the only one registered in Presley’s name. This is especially important because the cars in his museum were not registered in his name. After a while Presley gave the car to his doctor who sold it to the current owner in 1985.

The Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham is powered by an 8.2-liter V8 engine with 210 hp (157 kW) and 380 lb-ft (515 Nm) of torque. The car is in original condition with minor damage, nothing in the way of rust.

Along with the original documentation, the buyer will also receive a 14k gold key. The current bid at the auction is 13,000 EUR, and the auction closes on January 15th, 19:30.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT sold for $ 1,902,000

A few days ago, the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT was sold for $ 1,902,000, which is a record amount for a used car. It is one of 1270 examples produced, and has only 780 miles (1,255 km) on the tachometer.

The Carrera GT is powered by a 5.7-liter V10 engine with 605 hp (445 kW) and 435 lb-ft (590 Nm) of torque at 5750 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. It is mounted on forged magnesium 19 and 20 inch rims wrapped in 265/35 (front) and 335/30 (rear) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The body of the car, made of carbon fiber, is painted in Guards Red with matching removable roof panels. The car comes with an electronically actuated rear spoiler, clutch rotors and brakes made of ceramic composites, as well as an original factory-fitted luggage set, factory books, keys, and a clean Carfax report.

Inside, sports seats made of carbon fiber and Kevlar are upholstered in black leather. The center console, door caps and dashboard are also upholstered in leather, and there are interior trim in magnesium, carbon fiber and aluminum.

Another example of the Carrera GT is currently on sale with only 250 miles on the odometer and is very close to breaking the record price of $ 1,902,000.

One of the two 1965 Porsche 912 Coupe Prototype is for sale

Auction house Mecum has announced the sale of an extremely rare one of the two remaining 1965 Porsche 356B / 912 Coupe Prototype. It is one of a total of six ever produced, factory development and research cars used as a presentation vehicle.

The Porsche 912 is powered by a 1.6 liter flat four prototype engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission equivalent to a six-speed transmission in the 911. It was purchased as a car parts and has a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, seduced. Painted in white, the car has an original engine, which is very important because it is one of the six 4-cylinder prototypes produced.

The interior is done in black leather with light Ivory parts. Wooden steering wheel, leather upholstered seats and dark floors are just some of the details that can be noticed at first glance.

The car was restored to high standards by a marque specialist, and at the 2014 Porsche Parade Competition won 297.4 points out of a maximum of 300. Although in 2019 one of 912 examples was sold for $ 140,000, Mecum estimated this rare model at a whopping $ 500,000 .
