In the mid-90s, Porsche began production of its first road vehicle originally designed as a roadster since the 550 Spyder. It is a Porsche 986 Boxster based on the 1993 Boxster Concept. Bavaria Motors has announced the sale of the unique Porsche Boxster 986 Prototype, first registered in 2000.

The car is primarily intended for racing, so the body of the car is made of lightweight materials, such as carbon fiber and Kevlar, to reduce the weight to less than 1000 kg. This unique two-seater is equipped with Bosh Motorsport Racing ABS, large rear wing for more downforce, custom made cooling system to prevent overheating, AP brakes front while on the rear, in combination with perforated braking discs, Brembo brakes.

Under the hood is a tuned 3.6L bi-turbo flat six engine with 625 hp (460 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. Reaches 124 mph (200 km / h) in 9.8 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph (325 km / h). It is mounted on 18-inch FIKSE wheels.

It has only 2,000 km on the odometer, and the asking price is EUR 149,900 (USD 163,600), VAT free.
