Subaru STI E-RA

STI E-RA is a new concept that Subaru presented at the Tokyo Auto Show. At first glance, you can see two openings on the hood, a large rear spoiler, openings on the wheel arches, a large front splitter, as well as an air intake that extends from the middle of the roof to the rear.

The electric racing concept will power four Yamaha engines with a total power of 1,073 hp (789 kW). It is equipped with a 60 kWh battery set, which may not be enough for this type of car. However, Subaru believes that next year at the Nurburgring the car will be able to achieve a lap time of 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

It is made of lightweight materials, painted in a combination of white and black with red details on the sides of the vehicle. The car will create great downforce, will have four-wheel drive and a “unique” torque vectoring system that maximizes grip and stability. We are sure that the expectations from this concept in Subaru are high.

At the same event, Subaru also introduced the Solterra STI. It is a more powerful version of the first electric car of this company, which was presented at the end of last year.

All-electric Audi R8

Audi has been mentioning for several years that the next generation of the supersport model R8 will be powered only by electric motors, and a hybrid version (which Porsche is already preparing for the 911) is not an option. It has now been confirmed that the next generation Audi R8 will not be powered by an internal combustion engine.

All-electric Audi R8

It has not yet been revealed when the production electric R8 will hit the market. It is known that by 2025, Audi will have at least 20 models in the global offer that will be powered only by electricity.

Production of internal combustion engines will last until 2033, and all new models that Audi will introduce from 2026 will be powered only by electricity.

With the previously introduced PB18 e-tron concept model, it can be assumed what a fully electric R8 will look like.

Piech GT

The Piech GT is the first electrically powered car that Toni Piech will offer to customers from 2024. Toni Piech is the great-grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the founder of the famous German car company, who would be proud of the sporty electric two-seater project.

The car was introduced in 2019 as the Mark Zero Concept. For now, it is known that the Piech GT electric two-seater will be powered by three electric motors with a total power of 600 hp (441 kW). It is equipped with a 75 kWh Lithium-Ion battery that provides a range of just over 500 kilometers on a single charge. The battery can be charged up to 80 percent in eight minutes thanks to the fast charger. Fast charger specially developed by TGOOD enables charging in under five minutes. It reaches 62 mph in 3 seconds and 124 mph (200 kph) in 9 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph (250 kph).

“We created a sports car with a timeless design, just like we would dream ourselves. And we spoke at length with car enthusiasts about what is missing on the market. The result was a modern classic that is not bound by any consumer cycles. Drivers of our sports car should enjoy every moment they spend behind the wheel, ”says Rea Stark Rajcic, co-founder and CDO of Piëch Automotive.

The Piech GT is mounted on 20-inch wheels with 255 / 40-20 (front) and 295 / 35-20 (rear) tires. There are also 21-inch wheels with 265 / 35-21 (front) and 305 / 30-21 (rear) tires.

Toni Piech is convinced that there will be enough customers who will set aside around 200,000 euros for his first model. Besides GT two-seater, an ambitious company, which plans to produce 10,000 cars a year, will soon offer an electric four-seater model and an SUV.
