After several major car manufacturers changed their logos, Citroën did the same. The design of the new identity recalls the beginnings, when Andre Citroen adopted the original logo design 103 years ago.
The new logo in different versions will be used on all future cars from the middle of next year. It’s first appearance will be on a car that the French company calls a “significant concept family vehicle.” Citroen is currently working on a redesign to make the logo more visible.
The designers found inspiration for the new logo in the 2CV and DS models, while the Monte Carlo blue color represents the brand’s identity. The logo has a vertical oval frame with two arrows (deux chevrons). The chrome finish is gone, and the logo will be used for showrooms, corporate buildings and various products. Citroen director Vincent Covee said the new logo was “an elegant symbol of progress”.
Along with the new logo, Citroen also presented a new slogan: “Nothing Moves Us Like Citroen”. In a way, this points to Citroen’s electric future, as Stellantis previously announced a plan that all models launched from 2026 in Europe will be pure-electric.
