The Maranello-based company produces several special cars for special clients every year, and this time it’s a special edition car based on the F8 Spider, the Ferrari SP-8.
SP-8 is powered by a 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine with 710 hp (522 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770Nm) of torque. It will reach 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, while the top speed has not been revealed. Also, it should be noted that only one copy will be made for a client from Taiwan.
The car is made of carbon components that give it a completely new look compared to the Ferrari F8. Up front is a new cast aluminum grille, special headlight covers, while at the rear, square tailpipes from the 296 GTB and taillights from the Ferrari Roma.
The interior features a combination of old and new. The dashboard from the Ferrari F8 was retained, but the gear lever and F1 transmission adopted the retro look originally introduced on the SF90 Stradale.
The front part of the car is finished in bare carbon, while the rear part is painted in silver. Also, unlike the Ferrari F8, the SP-8 has no roof.
The price has not been announced, but considering the unique design and the fact that it is a unique car, it was not cheap.
