The unique Ford Shelby Cobra will be sold at auction

The unique car will be sold at auction in Monterey, California. It is a 2004 Ford Shelby Cobra, inspired by the AC Cobra (Daisy).

The design and production of the car was approved by Carol Shelby and supervised by former vice president of product development Chris Theodore and vice president of product design J. Mays.

This unique roadster is powered by a 6.4-liter V10 engine with 605 hp and 501 lb-ft (679 Nm) of torque at 5,500 rpm. The car has a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The maximum speed of the car is electronically limited to 100 mph, although Ford claims that the car is able to reach a speed of 207 mph (333 km / h).

The current owner of the car is Chris Theodore who paid $ 825,000 for the car in 2017. Although the selling price of the Ford Shelby Cobra is not known, some appraisers estimate that the car is currently worth about $ 1.5 million.
