The demand for SUVs is increasing, so the British brand Mini announced the arrival of its SUV, which according to unconfirmed information should be based on the Countryman model.
This decision is not surprising if we consider that Mini has experience in Dakar Rally races. They have not confirmed from the British company, it is speculated that the SUV will be built on the basis of the current generation SUV Countryman which comes with drive through all axles (ALL4). Also, the SUV should have significantly higher ground clearance, reinforced suspension and wheels for different surfaces.
Until the decision on the new Mini SUV is confirmed, the British brand offers its customers the electric model Countryman in versions S and JCW with a single electric motor and SE powered by two electric motors.
The Mini Countryman is powered by a single electric motor with 201 hp (148 kW) and is equipped with a 64.7 kWh battery. It reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.6 seconds and has a range of 462 km. For those who want more power, the Countryman SE ALL4 is powered by two electric motors with a power of 309 hp (227 kW), which is enough to push the car to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
