New Hyundai i10, i20 and i30 coming soon

New Hyundai i10, i20 and i30 coming soon

Officially, Hyundai is not giving up on small cars. This was confirmed by the President/CEO at Hyundai Motor Europe GmbH, Michael Cole, saying that the South Korean car company continues to produce the next generation i10, i20 and i30 models. The reason for such a decision is that there are still many buyers who do not like the crossover/SUV concept at all.

“The popular models i10, i20 and i30 remain in the offer. We will also produce them in the next editions, because we do not want to lose our customers who do not want lifted cars”, said Cole and added that the mentioned models powered by (turbo) gasoline engines will soon be and electrified, which will ensure that they meet the announced even stricter standards on exhaust gas emissions.

This puts Hyundai in a small group of car companies that, in addition to SUVs, also offer standard car models from more compact categories, which from the point of view of many potential customers seems to be the right decision.

Last year, Hyundai achieved sales growth with the delivery of approximately 500,000 vehicles. Also, the company announced the development of a small electric car for the European market that will cost around 20,000 euros, but also 11 electric models by the end of the decade.

Also, the South Korean automaker is among several companies that believe hydrogen still has a future. However, without major investments in infrastructure, fuel cell cars like the N Vision 74 Concept remain just a dream.
