2023 Fiat Panda 4×40° Limited Edition

In 1980, Fiat presented a three-door hatchback designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantovani, the Fiat Panda. Three years later, the all-wheel drive variant arrives on the market, and on the 40th anniversary of its existence, Fiat presented the Fiat Panda 4×40° Limited Edition.

Almost 800,000 copies of the four-wheel drive version have been delivered since 1983, and Fiat says that this number represents about 10 percent of all 4×4 cars sold in the A segment.

The Panda 4×40° Limited Edition is finished in Ivory color, and is decorated with black side mirrors, red 4×40° markings with the silhouette of the original model, 4×40° badge on the B-pillar and two-tone 15-inch rims. Inside, the Ivory theme continues in combination with red stitching. The seats are trimmed in gray leather and recycled fabric, with 2023 embroidered on the backrest.

It is equipped with automatic air conditioning, heated and electric mirrors, rear parking sensors, light sensors, as well as rain sensors. There is also a 7-inch infotainment screen with DAB radio and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay systems. The shift lever and the steering wheel are covered in leather.

The car will be produced in 1,983 copies, which represents the year of production of the first model with all-wheel drive, and will be offered in France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

VW Golf Delta4x4

In 1974, Volkswagen introduced the first generation of a compact small family car, the VW Golf. With FWD, the car became very popular among Volkswagen fans, and it took 11 years for the all-wheel drive version to hit the market. In 1989, VW presented the Golf Country version, intended for adventurers, and now Delta4x4, which specializes in off-road cars, wants to create a modern version based on the current Golf R.

The car is in the concept stage, but the company planned to produce a limited number of cars. If there is enough customer interest, we can expect 25 conversions that will cost 35,000 euros, that is, more than the price of the Golf R-Line, which costs 33,335 euros in Germany. The idea is to raise the Golf R by 80 mm and place it on 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The aftermarket package also includes roof racks, as well as an additional five hood-mounted PIAA lights. The conversion of one car into an off-road version will take six to nine months.

VW Golf R is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder with 315 hp (232 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds (seven-speed dual-clutch automatic) and 4.9 seconds (six-speed manual), with a limited top speed of 155 mph (250).
