Ferrari 296 GTS with better aerodynamics and more power

After last year’s coupe 296 GTB, another Ferrari model underwent the treatment of the German tuner Novitec. Like all the previous ones, this Ferrari 296 GTS got carbon components and more power.

Novitec equipped the 296 GTS with carbon components such as the front lip spoiler, side skirts, side mirror housings, side intake details, diffuser and ducktail spoiler. The car has a hydraulic system that raises the front axle up to 40 mm, and a set of sports springs is installed that lowers the car by 35 mm. There are also 21″ front and 22″ rear Novitec NF 10 alloy wheels with five delicate twin spokes by Vossen, available in 72 colors with a brushed or polished finish, wrapped in 255/30 ZR front and 335/25 ZR rear tires.

Buyers can order exhaust systems with actively controlled butterfly valves integrated into the exhaust system, 100-cell sports catalytic converters that increase engine power by 38 hp (28 kW). Exhaust pipes are available with carbon coating or gold plating, and depending on the configuration, a stainless steel and Inconel exhaust system is also available and offers better thermal insulation.

Novitec also offers interior modifications, which include new leather and Alcantara upholstery in the color of your choice. Novitec offers cockpit refinement using the finest leather and Alcantara in an almost endless variety of colors, for all Ferrari models to express maximum individuality.

When it comes to the powertrain, the 296 GTS is still powered by a 3.0-L V6 twin-turbo engine combined with an MGU-K electric motor for a total output of 868 hp (638 kW). As a reminder, the standard 296 GTS has 819 hp (610 kW).

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge with new carbon body kit

A few months ago, Rolls-Royce presented a new edition of the Cullinan Black Badge Series II, whose production will start in August 2024. For owners of the current model, the American company 1016 Industries offers a special carbon body kit.

Rolls-Royce premiered the Cullinan Black Badge at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show as a special edition of the Cullinan. The car is based on performance and its interior consists of carbon fiber applications, black leather and borders colored according to the exterior colour. However, for those who want more, 1016 Industries offers a special body kit, which is the first aftermarket company to offer packages of parts made from the pure carbon used by Rolls-Royce. These include lightweight side skirts, a sports diffuser, a rear fender extension spoiler and new bumpers.

When it comes to the powertrain, 1016 Industries hasn’t changed anything. Under the bonnet is still a 6.75-L V12 engine with 591 hp (441 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), which is respectable for a car weighing 2734 kg.

1016 Industries has not disclosed how much the upgrade costs, but it is known that the tuner offers a similar V3 package for $65,000.

2025 BMW M5

After the recently introduced BMW X3 (G45), the Bavarian manufacturer has now revealed a new generation of high-performance sedans, the BMW M5. It is the most powerful M5 ever, but also much heavier than its predecessor.

The new M5 has retained its distinctive design, but is slightly wider than its predecessor. Buyers can now choose between 20 and 21-inch wheels with 410mm front and 400mm rear disc brakes, while optional carbon-ceramic brakes come with 420mm front discs and six-piston calipers.

Most of the changes were under the bonnet, which is a 4.4-L biturbo V8 engine combined with an electric motor with a total output of 727 hp (542 kW) and 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. That’s enough power for the car (500 kg heavier than its predecessor) to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). It is equipped with a 14.8 kWh battery that enables an electric range of up to 40 kilometers.

In addition to the three standard modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus), drivers will now be able to choose two optional work programs (Dynamic and Dynamic Plus) with which the hybrid M5 shows all its capabilities. By activating them, the driver can choose to transfer all the power to the rear axle only, with the assistance of an electronically controlled limited differential lock. There is also the possibility of individual adjustment of the suspension, brakes, steering system, gearbox and drivetrain.

When it comes to price, the new BMW M5 starts at 144,000 euros in Germany.
