BMW V12 engines have come to an end

As BMW had previously announced, its V12 engines have come to an end. The story begins back in 1986, when they were first presented in a 5.0-liter edition in Series 7 (E32). That is why BMW will, in their honor, produce 12 special models of the BMW 7 Series M760i xDrive in the middle of the year, which will be powered by V12 engines for the last time.

They will be powered by a 6.6-liter V12 biturbo engine with 601 hp (447 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. That’s enough for a luxury BMW to reach 62 mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).

They will be equipped with special 20-inch wheels. It will have the inscription “1 OF 12” on the center console. Customers will be able to choose from 80 special body colors.
