2022 Renault Austral

After introducing the Mégane Conquest and the new Mégane E-TECH Electric, the French carmaker decided to expand its offering with a new family-friendly model, the Renault Austral. The designers tried to create a truly modern, elegant and luxurious car, with the characteristics of the existing model, which will replace the current Kadjar.

Austral is part of a new range of compact Renault SUV models that combine innovative connected technology and deliver eco-driving pleasure. The perfect balance of voices makes it easy to pronounce and gives it a truly international touch.

With the Austral model, Renault is entering a new era of car design. At the front, the front grille and lights with micro-fiber technology, taken from the Megane E-TECH Electric model, attract the most attention. The lines that extend above the fender arches give a new approach to structural design and enable the construction of a strong and sharp profile, which is a reflection of the new design expression.

“Renault Austral combines strong stylistic elements that give it a dynamic and elegant design. The quality is easy to see at first glance. We have reduced the body gaps, we have adjusted the proportions so as to develop an immediate sense of quality, ”said Renault Design Director, Gilles Vidal.

The arrival of Renault Austral is scheduled for spring this year.
