Mini could produce an off-road SUV

The demand for SUVs is increasing, so the British brand Mini announced the arrival of its SUV, which according to unconfirmed information should be based on the Countryman model.

This decision is not surprising if we consider that Mini has experience in Dakar Rally races. They have not confirmed from the British company, it is speculated that the SUV will be built on the basis of the current generation SUV Countryman which comes with drive through all axles (ALL4). Also, the SUV should have significantly higher ground clearance, reinforced suspension and wheels for different surfaces.

Until the decision on the new Mini SUV is confirmed, the British brand offers its customers the electric model Countryman in versions S and JCW with a single electric motor and SE powered by two electric motors.

The Mini Countryman is powered by a single electric motor with 201 hp (148 kW) and is equipped with a 64.7 kWh battery. It reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.6 seconds and has a range of 462 km. For those who want more power, the Countryman SE ALL4 is powered by two electric motors with a power of 309 hp (227 kW), which is enough to push the car to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.

McLaren Artura upgraded by Novitec

At the beginning of 2024, McLaren presented the new generation of its sports hybrid model Artura, and it didn’t take long for it to become a project of one of the tuners. It is a powerful car for which the Bavarian tuner Novitec has prepared a special package of carbon aerodynamic components, taking it to the next level.

Novitec carbon body kit includes front spoiler lip, side panels, air intake cover, inlet frontbumper, headlight cover, inlets fender, rear bumper, mirror cover, entrance panels, trunk lid, rear diffusor, rear
spoiler lip, and rear wing. There’s also a high-performance Novitec Race stainless steel or Inconel exhaust system with an optional gold finish and custom tailpipes, as well as a set of Novitec sports springs that lower the car by 20mm.

The car is mounted on a new set of 19″ Vossen rims at the front and 20″ at the rear, and it should be noted that a set of Novitec sports springs lowers the car by 20mm.

Novitec has also increased the power of the 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, which now delivers 725 hp (541 kW), which is 35 hp more than the standard version. McLaren Artura accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.4, and 300 km/h (186 mph) in 21.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 330 km/h h (205 mph). Thanks to the 7.4 kWh battery, it has an electric range of 33 km (21 miles).

2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid – More Powerful Than Ever

After setting the fastest lap time in the category of cars from the E-segment a few days ago on the Nurburgring Nordschleife, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has finally arrived on the market. It is the most powerful Panamera ever, and along with it Porsche presented a slightly sportier version, the Panamera GTS.

Visually, the Turbo S E-Hybrid looks identical to the Turbo E-Hybrid, with the exception of the rear bumper badges. There is the same body kit specific to the Turbo models, as well as 21-inch wheels. The Turbonite finish on the rims, fenders, rear bumper line and interior trim and stitching sets the Turbo version apart from the rest.

The car is equipped with Porsche Active Ride suspension, which includes an electronic hydraulic pump for each shock absorber, rear axle steering system, Porsche composite ceramic PCCB brakes with 440 mm front and 410 mm rear discs. Optionally, customers can choose a carbon Aerokit package that includes a front splitter, wings, sills and wings on the rear spoiler and rear diffuser, which increases downforce by 60 kilograms at a speed of 200 km/h.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is powered by a 4.0-L twin-turbo V8 engine assisted by an electric motor totaling 782 hp (583 kW) and 737 lb-ft (999 Nm) of torque. This means that it has 82 hp and 130 Nm more than its predecessor, which is enough to reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds (-0.2 sec) with a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph). The engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. It is equipped with a 25.9 kWh battery, which ensures a longer range and faster charging, but there are no precise data yet.

The Panamera GTS is equipped with sport-calibrated air suspension, reinforced anti-roll bars, stiffer springs, an electronically controlled PTV Plus limited-slip differential, 21-inch wheels in Anthracite gray with contrasting red brake calipers, four tailpipes in Dark Bronze, and for 10 mm is closer to the ground.

When it comes to the powertrain, the Panamera GTS is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 500 hp (373 kW), which is 20 hp more than the previous GTS. That is enough to reach from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds (-0.1 sec) with a top speed of 303 km/h.
