1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S X85 ‘Flat-Nose’ is up for auction

When production of the Porsche 964 Turbo ended in 1994, the Stuttgart-based company had 90 chassis left unused. They decided to produce a special edition Turbo 3.6 S for several world markets: X83 (Japan), X84 (non-US) and X85 (US). For the American market, 39 examples were produced with the ‘slant nose’ option and one of them, the 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S X85 ‘Flat-Nose’ is up for auction.

This Porsche 911 Turbo S X85 is the best preserved example of this model that you will find on the market. It is powered by a 3.6L turbocharged flat-six with 380 hp (283 kW) and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. It is mounted on stylish 18-inch RS Cup Polished wheels.

The car is finished in Grand Prix white, well maintained and has only 39 miles on the odometer. It was sold new to the famed Blackhawk Collection of Danville where it remained until 2016. It is equipped with slantnose fenders, front spoiler, rear spoiler and rear fender air intakes. The car was serviced, which included changing the oil, filter, fuel pump, injectors, brake lines, drive belt and struts.

Inside, the heated seats are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather that also covers the center console and door panels, with matching Beige Velor floor mats. Additional equipment includes Light Rootwood dashboard, parking brake lever, and shifter (Codes X17, X31, and XC8, respectively).

The 911 Turbo S X85 ‘Flat-Nose’ is part of the White Collection and will be offered at an auction that will take place on December 1-2. It comes with an air compressor, car cover, tool roll, original owner’s books with pouch, original window sticker, and document binder.
