The French manufacturer of sports cars and racing cars, Alpine, presented a new version of the A110 model, the Alpine A110 R Turini. The car is based on the most powerful and most expensive version, the A110 R.
This car comes at a time when the French company is trying to get back into the American market, and how successful it will be remains to be seen. It is powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 300 hp (221 kW) and 251 lb-ft (340 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph (285 km/h).
Alpine A110 R Turini is finished in blue with black hood and roof. It is equipped with a carbon front lip, rear spoiler, specially designed 18″ aluminum wheels, behind which are red calipers. Inside, the cabin is the same as the A110 R model.
When it comes to price, the A110 R Turini costs €106,000, the same as the A110 R. That’s more than some sports cars like the Lotus Emira I4 First Edition or the Porsche 718 Boxter GTS.
