The Ferrari 296 Speciale is the new supercar in the Italian brand’s fleet. It is the most powerful version of the 296 GTB model, which brings the best aerodynamic solutions of the Maranello-based company.

The 296 Speciale is equipped with lightweight carbon fiber components, modified suspension, reduced ground clearance, improved brakes, and a revised aerodynamic package that improves downforce by 20 percent. The interior is equipped with new seats and a variety of carbon accessories that further reduce the weight of the car by 5 kg.
When it comes to the powertrain, the Speciale is powered by a 3.0-L V6 engine combined with an electric motor for a total of 868 hp, which is more than the 296 GTB. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 330 km/h. The company also claims that the Speciale has better and more precise handling.
Ferrari marketing chief Enrico Galliera said that the 296 Speciale will be very exclusive, and that the car will be offered to customers who have purchased a new or improved used car from authorized dealers in the last five years. It will be available in Coupe and Spider variants, and the price will range from 407,000 euros (Coupe) to 462,000 euros (Spider).
