2022 Aston Martin DBX707 has left the production lines

After unveiling its new DBX707 SUV earlier this year, Aston Martin began production of this model. It is a symbol of the new era based on the DBX model, which raises the performance of the SUV to a higher level, and for which Aston Martin has hired a hundred new technicians.

The car is a symbol of the brand’s ability to combine top luxury with high performance. In addition to positive reactions from customers and the media, Aston Martin also offered new employment opportunities to people from the local community.

The new DBX 707 has a cast aluminum monocoque body shell with aluminum and composite body panels. It is equipped with adaptive air suspension, panoramic glass sunroof, sports LED daytime running lights, sport side sills in high gloss black, multi-piece diffuser, vented rear wheel arches, carbon fiber spoiler and quad exhausts in matt black.

It is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 707 hp (520 kW) making it the most powerful SUV in the world. It reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph (310 km / h). The power of its powerful engine is transmitted to all wheels via a fast 9-speed automatic transmission with improved differential and limited traction.

The first deliveries to customers are expected before the end of June. The price of the base model in Europe is just over 220,000 euros.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage Has Come To An End

Aston Martin has announced the strongest but, unfortunately, also its last V12 Vantage. This was confirmed by Aston Martin CEO Tobias Moers who said: “Now it is time to bring this bloodline to a close, fittingly with the most spectacular example yet – the fastest, most powerful and most dynamically capable V12 Vantage ever.”

The new Aston Martin Vantage will be powered by a 6.0 twinturbo V12 engine with 690 hp (507 kW) and 555 lb-ft (753 Nm) of torque, which is 20 percent more than the V8 model. It will reach 62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph (322 km / h). It is mounted on 21-inch wheels wrapped in 275/35 (front) and 315/30 (rear) Michelin Pilot 4S tires.

The car was on a diet so the weight was reduced to more than an excellent 1795 kg. All this is achieved by the use of lightweight carbon parts such as carbon fenders, side sills, rear bumper, deck lid, centrally placed stainless steel exhaust. It is also equipped with adaptive suspension, new springs, composite brakes with 410 mm discs and six-piston calipers at the front, while at the rear there are 360 ​​mm discs with four-piston calipers.

Tobias Moers also said: “Every great sports car brand has a hero car. For Aston Martin in more recent years that car has been the V12 Vantage. Right from the moment the first V12 Vantage RS Concept was shown back in 2007 our customers and fans around the world fell in love with the idea of ​​fitting our biggest engine into our smallest and most sporting model. ”

It will be produced in only 333 copies, and the first cars should reach their owners at the end of the year.

Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 9-speed lightweight cast magnesium bodied automatic gearbox. It reaches 62 mph in an impressive 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph (310 km / h).

“With this remarkable new model, we have really unlocked the performance potential within DBX to create a world-class top-performing SUV that is winning in the world,” said Ralph Illenberger.

The new DBX 707 has a cast aluminum monocoque body shell with aluminum and composite body panels. The car is mounted on 22 inch forged aluminum rims wrapped in 285/40 YR22 (front) and 325/35 YR22 (rear) tires. For safe braking and stopping there are 420 mm (front) and 390 mm (rear) carbon-ceramic brake discs.

The first examples will be delivered in the second quarter of this year, at a price of 206,000 EUR.
