Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate

It seems that Aston Martin is discontinuing the production of the DBS model, at least with the performance as we know it now, because a few days ago the limited edition Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate hit the market. It is the most powerful car from the DBS generation of all time. Whether it will return with pure V12 power is not yet certain.

The 770 Ultimate is powered by a 5.2-liter V12 biturbo engine with 759 hp (558 kW) and 663 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. It reaches 62 mph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h). Better intake and ignition increased preload pressure by seven percent. Also, the engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed gearbox and a mechanical limited slip differential.

The car received improved steering that is now more precise, calibrated suspension and a stiffer chassis. It is mounted on 21-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. There’s also a new front splitter, carbon details, windshield frame, side mirror housings and fender vents, new carbon side skirts and a unique rear diffuser.

Inside, a combination of leather and Alcantara adorns the cabin of this super powerful car. There is also a contrast trim split, a laser-etched 770 Ultimate logo and carbon fiber gearshift paddles, and a sill plaque showing the car’s production number.

Aston Martin 770 Ultimate will be produced in 499 copies, of which 300 coupes and 199 Volante versions. prices have not been publicly announced, and it is known that production will begin in the first quarter of this year, while deliveries are expected in the summer.

2023 AMB 001 Pro Superbike

After presenting the AMB 001 superbike three years ago, the collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior continued and this time the result is the AMB 001 Pro. It brings improved aerodynamics and more power.

The superbike retained the aggressive look of its predecessor, but received more pronounced aerodynamic components such as a new front spoiler, side wings and rear fin. The result is an increase in downforce and better airflow. It is painted in Verdant Jade color with Photon Lime details. This is the only offer for the AMB 001 Pro which carries Aston Martin’s ultra-lightweight label originally designed for the Valkyrie, which is 99.4 percent lighter than standard.

It is powered by a 997 ccm 2-cylinder engine with 225 hp (165 kW), which is 25 percent more power than its predecessor with 180 hp (132 kW). It has a dry weight of 175 kg and a power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 hp/kg.

The motorcycle was designed by Aston Martin and was inspired by the Valkyrie AMR Pro. It will be manufactured at Brough Superior’s facility in Toulouse, France. Only 88 units will be produced, unlike its predecessor which was produced in 120 units. Companies are already placing orders for the motorcycle, while the first deliveries are expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.

2022 Aston Martin DBR22

The beginning of the 50s was not successful for Aston Martin when it comes to racing, so in 1953 the company decided to produce a new model of a racing car, the DB3S, which was somewhat more successful. In his honor, the British manufacturer of luxury sports cars presented the Aston Martin DBR22 Concept.

The car is lighter, thanks to the carbon fiber body, but also designed to look much more muscular. Carbon parts such as the new radiator grille with a horizontal slat that runs the entire length of the grille and with two smaller vertical slats on either side were used in the construction, as well as on the DB3S model on which it is based. There are also side vents positioned behind the front wheels, side sills and front lip.

“Where could we go with the surfaces, proportion and form. Combining this approach with advanced process, technology, and materials, we’ve effectively modernized our racing bloodline and created a new pedigree. DBR22 is a hot-blooded, purebred Aston Martin sports a car full of speed, agility and spirit, and a machine that we think will be the basis of many of tomorrow’s icons,” said Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer.

When it comes to the powertrain, under the hood is a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine with 705 hp (518 kW) and 555 lb-ft (753 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It reaches 62 mph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 198 mph (319 km/h). It also has a torque-shaping system to optimize power delivery to the road. It is mounted on a set of lightweight 21-inch wheels.

In the development of the DBR22, Aston Martin used advanced technology and materials, such as aluminum, which significantly reduced weight without negatively affecting stiffness. Also, thanks to a series of technological solutions, from the thin side mirrors to the perforated plate under the lights that allows hot air to flow to the back of the car, and in combination with the diffuser, additional downforce was created and thus greater stability of this super powerful car. Some parts are made using a 3D printer.
