Mercedes-Benz Manufaktur options for the new S-Class

Two years ago, Mercedes-Benz offered customers a new G-Class a personalization option called Manufaktur. Meanwhile, a similar treatment has been offered with the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé and CLS models. Now, Mercedes-Benz is offering Manufaktur options for the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class as well as the luxury Maybach.

For the S-Class, the Manufactory brings several body color options that adorned certain Mercedes models of the 1960s and 1980s. Thus, the customer can order his new S-Class in the color with which Mercedes painted the famous 300 SL Gullwing or the indestructible predecessor of the E-Class from the legendary W123 series.

There are many combinations of colors and materials to choose from in the luxuriously equipped interior of the Mercedes flagship. Thus, Manufaktur also offers retro color combinations in the cabin, such as those that adorned the S-Class, which were produced until 2012.

According to a recipe that Rolls-Royce and Bentley have been using for years, Mercedes-Benz will soon offer a personalization program with the ultra-luxury SUV Maybach GLS, but also its electrically powered EQS version that arrives in 2023.

The customer has the last word.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic and S-Class Edition 100

Celebrating a hundred years since the first production car of the German company Maybach, Mercedes has prepared limited editions called Edition 100. Behind the unique hand-painted bodies, the Cirrus Silver and Nautical Blue, are two limited Mercedes-Maybach models, the GLS 600 4Matic and the S-Class Edition 100. The cars are based on the S-Class and GLS models.

Inside, buyers of both models will be able to choose between Crystal White and Silver Gray Pearl interiors. The models offered by Mercedes-Maybach in recent years should satisfy even the most pampered customers who have been looking for their “luxury on wheels” in Rolls-Royce and Bentley models.

The GLS 600 4Matic SUV is powered by AMG’s 4-liter V8 biturbo engine with 558 hp (410 kW) and 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) of torque. That’s enough power to push the car to 62 mph in less than 5 seconds at a top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).

The S-Class Edition 100 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6-liter V12 engine with 612 hp (450 kW) and 664 lb-ft (990 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. Both models ride on forged 20-inch wheels with a chrome black finish.

Delivery of both models should begin in the first quarter of next year.
