Larte Design Winner body kit for Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC +

The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC + is also in the factory version, a dangerous-looking SUV. However if there are those who want more, there is a solution. Larte Design has prepared its new Winner body kit, thanks to which the SUV looks even more dangerous.

The Winner body kit includes many carbon components like the new splitter or carbon details on the air intakes. The side mirrors and bonnet are also made of carbon, wider fenders with integrated openings, and there are body-colored sills. At the rear there is a “fake” diffuser and a larger spoiler. The car is equipped with 23-inch wheels wrapped in 295/35 / ZR23 high-performance tires.

Under the hood is a standard 4.0L V8 biturbo engine with 603 hp (443 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm). With a weight of 3,500 kg, it reaches 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Those who want more power can contact one of the tuners. For example, Wheelsadmore offers an increase in the power of the AMG GLS63 to 920 hp (677 kW).

MANHART ER 800

From the Manhart workshop comes a high-performance sports car, the MANHART ER 800. This sports car is based on the Mercedes models AMG E 63 and E 63 S.

The car is painted in matte black as a typical MANHART finish. At the front there is a black grille with gold decorations. It is equipped with an adjustable air suspension that allows the vehicle height to be lowered by 20 or 30 mm using software adjustment.

Under the hood is a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine with 809 hp (595 kW) and 789 lb-ft (1070 Nm) of torque. Compared to the standard model which has 612 hp (450 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, this is more than impressive. This performance is achieved thanks to the new intercooler, air intake and remapped ECU unit.

When it comes to braking and safe stopping, the car is equipped with a set of ceramic brakes with 405×38 mm discs. It rides on 21-inch rims with 255/30 ZR21 (front) and 295/25 ZR21 (rear) tires. Rims can be ordered in the color of your choice.

Only 5 copies of this sports car will be made. If you want to upgrade your own AMG E 63 model these are some of the prices:

  • Engine upgrade $ 21,108 (€ 17,999)
  • carbon intake adds $ 5,430 (€ 4,630)
  • exhaust system $ 9,968 (€ 8,499)
  • downpipes $ 3,400 (€ 2,899)
  • carbon or ceramic tailpipes $ 821 (€ 700)
  • rims $ 9,614 (€ 8,200)

Mercedes-AMG EV

During the recent Munich Motor Show, Mercedes unveiled several all-electric concepts. It seems that the company has completely turned to the production of zero-emission cars. This time it’s a Mercedes-AMG EV.

Speaking to Top Gear, Mercedes COO Markus Schäfer said it is not easy to make a good-looking electric convertible. Reduced demand for convertibles, primarily in China and Europe, could jeopardize the future of this project. What gives hope to Mercedes, according to Schäfer, is an attractive product and an emotional product that builds the brand.

“When you think about AMG and turning AMG into an electric brand, we will definitely think about a cabriolet as well.”

It remains to be seen in what form it will appear and how it will position itself on the market, in relation to the coming rivals.

Speaking of electric convertibles, it should be reminded of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet. It is an electric car with a sharp feature line, which attracts attention at first sight. With 750 hp and a range of 311 miles, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet was a revelation of luxury. It reaches 62 mph in less than 4 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h).
