Mick Schumacher in Michael Schumacher’s F1 car at the GFS

German Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher at the Goodwood Festival of Speed drove two Mercedes cars in the suit of his father, seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.

At the end of the last F1 season, Mick burned the tires of his car because it was his last race for the Haas team. The people on the team didn’t like it, so they asked him to stop doing it. “Sorry Mick, can you stop doing that, seriously? I’m sorry, but we just can’t do that. Sorry,” was the message to Schumacher from his pit.

Mick was a little sarcastic saying, “Okay. I love you too.”

After that, Mercedes offered him the position of reserve driver, which he accepted. Team boss Toto Wolff hasn’t forgotten what Haas did to Mick, offering him to drive his father’s car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Mercedes posted a photo on social media with the caption: “Ok Mick, you can make donuts” and added a fire emoticon to represent burning tires.
