Two years ago, Ford introduced the extremely powerful seventh generation Mustang Dark Horse, and in 2023, the American hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator Hennessey revealed the H850 version based on this model. It took a year for Hennessey to start production of this car.

“Our supercharged Mustang builds have continuously been customer favorites over the years, and Ford’s improved S650 platform will prove to be its most capable. Without question, our supercharged 850 horsepower Dark Horse model will be one of the most exciting and powerful muscle cars on the road — sure to turn heads with its distinctive supercharger wail and exhaust note,” said company founder and CEO John Hennessey in 2023.

The interior remained original with high-quality materials and an adaptive 12.4-inch display in combination with a high-resolution 13.2-inch display of the multimedia system, which replaces the old instrument panel.

This Mustang Dark Horse is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine with 850 hp (643 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. As a reminder, the standard Mustang Dark Horse has 500 hp (368 kW) and 418 lb-ft (567 Nm) of torque. The increase in power was achieved thanks to the installation of a new fuel pump, nozzles and compressor, as well as a high-flow air intake. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual or ten-speed automatic transmission. The upgraded engine comes with a three-year or 36,000-mile (58,000 km) warranty.

Hennessey said the car accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and covers 402 meters in 10.9 seconds with a top speed of 214 km/h (133 mph). The price of the car is not known.
