Hyundai manufactured its 100 millionth car

Hyundai N Vision 74 is coming soon

At the recent Investor Day, Hyundai announced that it plans to introduce 21 new electric cars by the end of the decade. Some of the new EVs to hit the market in the next five years is the high-performance electric vehicle, the N Vision 74.

The story of this vehicle began in 2022 when it was introduced. In May 2024, information arrived from South Korea that Hyundai had given permission for the production of 200 road-legal cars, and production was to begin in June 2026. Each car could cost more than $300,000.

The concept is 4,952 mm long, 1,995 mm wide and 1,331 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,905 mm. It is equipped with a 62.4 kWh battery, which enables a range of over 600 km, and a hydrogen tank. It is powered by electric motors with a total output of over 680 hp (500 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. However, there is a possibility that the production car will not be equipped with a hydrogen tank.

Hyundai management seems to be playing against the wishes of its executive technical advisor and creator of the N brand, Albert Biermann, who in earlier statements did not seem interested in the N Vision 74.
