Nissan Navara-R with 1,000 HP

Nissan cars are often upgraded by tuner companies, but for one model we wouldn’t expect it to go through an upgrade. Of course, it is the Nissan Navara that, over a period of two years, has undergone an upgrade by the SB Motorsports team and Steve Baggsy Biagioni, a professional drifter. They created the Nissan Navara-R.

Impressive looking, the Navara-R is equipped with a wide bodykit manufactured by Sterling Automotive. These include new front and rear fenders, an accentuated front splitter, roof spoiler, rear spoiler and bumper extensions. The body of the car is covered with Fleet Livery Solutions Ltd. foil.

Inside, the Navara-R is equipped with Sparco seats, a new steering wheel, a small digital cluster and Kenwood sound system with a large touch screen located on the center console.

When it comes to powertrain, the Navara-R is powered by a 4.1L twinturbo V6 engine with 1,000 hp (735 kW). It is an improved engine from the Nissan GT-R, which originally delivers 562 hp (413 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637Nm) of torque. It is mounted on 20-inch BBS wheels to which power is transmitted via a modified dual-clutch transmission manufactured by Dodson Motorsport.

The impressive pickup costs around £ 250,000 and the order book is open.

Can the Porsche 911 Turbo S beat the Tesla Model S Plaid & 1,100 hp Nissan GTR in drag race?

A month ago, a video appeared on YouTube in which the guys from Throttle House compared three super powerful and fast cars in a drag race. These are the Tesla Model S Plaid, the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the modified Nissan GTR.

Tesla Models S Plaid is powered by three electric motors with a total power of 1,020 hp (750 kW) and 1,050 lb-ft (1,424 Nm) of torque, with a range of 396 miles. It reaches 60 mph in 1.99 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine with 650 hp (478 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic PDK transmission. It reaches 62 mph in an impressive 2.3 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

The modified Nissan GTR is powered by a 3,8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 1,100 hp (809 kW), paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. It reaches a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h).

When it comes to pricing, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is the most expensive with $ 207,000. The Tesla Model S Plaid is significantly cheaper than the Porsche, costing $ 147,990. The price of the Nissan GTR is not known, as it is a modified model.

At 1/4 mile in a straight line the Tesla Model S Plaid was much faster than the Porsche 911 Turbo S. After that the Nissan GTR and Tesla Model S Plaid came out on the track where, again, the Model S Plaid was better.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT vs Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs Nissan GTR

The guys from Carwow compared the family friendly Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, Lamborghini Huracan Performante and Nissan GTR in a track battle. It is not a question of which car is faster, but what we get for the price we pay.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is powered by a 4,0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 640 hp (470 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. With a weight of 2,200 kg, it reaches 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph). Power is transmitted to all wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The price of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is $ 180,800.

Lamborghini Huracan Performante is powered by a 5.2 liter naturally inspired V10 engine with 640 hp (470 kW) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed LDF dual clutch automatic transmission. It has an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system (Haldex gen. V) with rear mechanical self-locking differential. Weighing less than the Cayenne (1,500 kg), it reaches 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 201 mph (325 kph). It is equipped with 20-inch Mimas forged rims with 245/30 R20 (front) and 305/30 R20 (rear) tires. The price of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is around $274,390.

The Nissan GTR is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 700hp (522kW) and 630 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to all wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Accelerates to 62 mph in about 3 seconds.

On the track, Lamborghini showed absolute superiority over the Porsche Cayenne GT. At 1/4 mile Lamborghini set a time of 10.8 seconds and the Porsche Cayenne GT 11.2 seconds. The Nissan GTR covered the same distance in 10.9 seconds. The only advantage the Nissan GTR showed was when, starting from third gear at 50 mph in Super Sport mode, it achieved a better time at 1/2 mile.

However, see for yourself what happened.
