Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer for sale

The 1989 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer recently hit the market at a asking price of $ 1.1 million. The price may be high, but this could be a good opportunity for fans of Singer’s work, because the company announced that future owners will have to wait several years for their cars.

Singer is known for restoring the 911 models to their original state, using the best parts in multigenerational evolution, to create the perfect car. This example is done in the well-known Singer design, and as a starting point was used 964 case, Coupe or Targa, with custom crankshaft, oil pump, pistons, cylinders, connecting rods, camshafts, cylinder heads, throttle bodies, and intake system.

The car has had two owners so far. It is painted in Geyser Gray color, and has RS + camshafts, a large Brembo brake kit, a large fuel tank cover on the hood, while on the sides there is a Bahama Yellow inscription “Porsche.” Inside, the seats are upholstered in Tobacco Olive suede with Bahamas yellow stitching.

When it comes to powertrain, the Porsche 911 Reimagined is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine with 390 hp (287 kW) and 315 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and allows the vehicle to reach 62 mph in 3.3 seconds.

The car has only 1,118 miles (1,800 km) on the odometer.

2024 Porsche 911 Cabriolet on the snowy roads of the north

As we announced earlier, Porsche is currently testing a new generation 911 Cabriolet on the snowy roads of northern Europe. Unlike last time, a slightly different test model has now been seen.

Rumor has it that the new 911 Cabriolet will be powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine with an unknown number of horsepower. The current 911 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six with a power range from 380 hp to 473 hp.

Covered in camouflage, the front end brings slightly larger air intakes on the front bumper with vertical slats, like the one on the upcoming 911 Carrera. There are still unusual lights on the sides that we hope will only be used in testing. At the rear, the camouflage covers most of it, but slightly closer positioned exhaust pipes can be noticed, as well as a thinner LED light bar. It is mounted on wide Michelin tires.

The car is still in the early stages of testing which could last until the end of the year. According to some sources, the new generation 911 (992) Cabriolet will arrive on the market next year as the 2024 model.

Porsche 911 Turbo Study

California-based Singer has so far offered wealthy customers around the world restored and modified Porsche 911 Coupé and Targa based on the Porsche 964 Series. They are powered by air-cooled 6-cylinder boxer engines without turbochargers. Now, Singer will present its first reimagined turbocharged Porsche 911 Turbo Study.

The inspiration for this model was the legendary Porsche 930 Turbo with a turbocharger. Each car will be made according to the wishes and needs of the future owner, like the example in the photos. The car is painted in Wolf Blue, and is equipped with improved suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. Inside, sports electrically adjustable seats are upholstered in leather, and there are also wood, cork and granite accents.

After numerous tests, the Porsche 911 Turbo Study will premiere in late June. It is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, and Singer says it will have around 450 hp (330 kW). Power will be transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. AWD will also be available as an option.

There is currently a lot of interest in this model, which surprised Stinger. So far, 70 orders have been received. Also, Stinger did not say how much Turbo Study will cost.
