Rolls Royce Spectre EV

Rolls Royce has decided to stop the rumors and announce to the world that it is in the process of making its first electric coupe, the Spectre EV. This is a historic step forward for the company that announced the electric novelty earlier through the 102EX and 103EX concepts.

Interestingly, although it was announced Rolls Royce will not use the BMW platform, but its aluminum platform introduced in 2017. This platform has been used on Phantom models, Cullinan and Ghost.

Rolls Royce not only announced a new model, but also presented a camouflaged prototype as a big surprise. The shape and proportions themselves are very reminiscent of the Wraith, and are expected to have two doors, a low roofline and a long front cover.

“It’s not in any way the successor of the Wraith. It’s a different proposition for our clients. It will feel very different, it will look very different,” said Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes.

He added: “We will go from combustion engines straight into electric when we substitute certain positions in our portfolio, and that is the way forward,” he said.

Before production begins, the prototype will make at least 2.5 million kilometers in all possible conditions. This will simulate as much as 400 years of use.

The first deliveries will be in 2023, and the brand will be fully electric by 2030.

Rolls-Royce Down

The work of the famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma was the inspiration for the design of the special Rolls-Royce Down model. Down was made for the owner of the Westbank company and was inspired by The Kita building in Tokyo designed by Kengo Kuma.

The intention of the designers was to connect the architecture and the world of luxury cars. That’s why Down is painted in Silver Haze, modeled on the materials used in the construction of the building, which reveal a bronze hue in daylight.

The interior of the Down used natural materials such as Selby gray leather with Arctic white and black details.

The owner wanted his unique car to be paired with a multi-level penthouse located at the top of The Kit building.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge – Beast with 707 HP

Although the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is a powerful car, Spofec has gone further. Even 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque was not enough to express all the capabilities of this car.

New ignition programming, new injection system and higher maximum pressure increased its power to 707 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque. This made Cullinan a real beast that accelerates from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds. The top speed of 155 mph (250 km / h) remained the same.

In response to more power, Spofec increased the body by 3.9 inches (front) and 4.7 inches (rear), added new rocker panels, a new front bumper and a functional front spoiler. There are also new forged 24-inch wheels developed in collaboration with Vossen. The car has a special control module for the air suspension that reduces the height of the vehicle by 1.6 inches (40 mm).

The look of the Cullinan is complemented by an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system, a rear spoiler and an aggressive diffuser.
