Microlino Lite available for 14 year olds

Microlino is an all-electric, four-wheeled Quadricycle inspired by the Isetta, a bubble car from the 1950s. It was created in 2016 in collaboration between Microlino and CECOMP, as Microlino 1.0. In 2022, the more modern Microlino 2.0 arrived on the market, and now the Microlino Lite is presented, a version that will be able to be driven in most countries from the age of 16, and in France and Italy from the age of 14.

This version does not differ much in design from the Microlino 2.0, and customers will be able to choose between two body colors, Venice Blue and Berlin Anthracite. It is powered by an electric motor with 12 hp (9 kW) enough to reach a limited top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph). That is significantly less than the original, which has 17 hp (12.5 kW) and a top speed of 90 km/h (56 mph).

The car is equipped with a 6 kWh battery that enables a range of 90 km (56 miles), and customers can also choose an 11 kWh battery with a range of up to 177 km (110 miles). The battery can be charged up to 80 percent in just two hours.

When it comes to price, the Microlino Lite can be purchased on a four-year contract for CHF 149 ($169) per month. Sales will start soon.

Ford SuperVan 4.2 is faster than modified Mercedes-AMG GT3

SuperVan 4.2 is the name of Ford’s superpowerful electric vehicle that has set a new lap record in Australia’s Mount Panorama, dethroning the modified Mercedes-AMG GT3.

The event was organized as part of the Bathurst 500 Supercars race, and how superior the SuperVan was is shown by the fact that it was 10 seconds faster than the second fastest, setting a new record lap time of 1:56.3247.

Since 1971, when it presented its first SuperVan, Ford has launched a total of four such vehicles, including the SuperVan 4.2 which was a rebuilt SuperVan 4. The car was created in partnership with STARD and the intention was to compete at the 101st Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

The Supervan 4.2 is powered by four electric motors with a total power of 1,400 hp (1,044 kW). It weighs around 1800 kg and thanks to the redesign of the exterior, it generates two tons of downforce at 242 km/h.

1951 Porsche 356 Pre-A is up for auction

In 1951, Porsche introduced the Pre-A version of its first production car, the 356, with 1,300 and 1,500 cc engines, more power, and a split window. It was produced until 1955, when it was replaced by version 356 A. Over 4,500 examples left the production line and one of them, the 1951 Porsche 356 Pre-A is up for auction.

The 356 Pre-A is powered by a replacement 1,500cc flat-four engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission, fitted with BBBC gears, that sends power to the rear wheels. The car sits on 16″ steel wheels wrapped in 5.00-16″ Excelsior radial tires.

The car is finished in Maroon (R 503) and is in good condition. It is equipped with slim body-color bumpers, Reutter-Stuttgart badging, Bosch headlights, a Hella third brake light and square taillights, dual exhaust outlets, and four-wheel drum brakes with cooling ribs.

Inside, Fibersteel Speedster-style seats are trimmed in gray vinyl with cloth inserts, and gray squareweave carpets cover the seat backs and floors. In front of the driver are a banjo-style steering wheel and a five-digit odometer showing 22,762 kilometers (total mileage unknown). Additional equipment includes map pockets, black sun visors, black rubber floor linings, and a six-volt Telefunken AM/SW tube radio. There are also wooden decorations that adorn the door caps and rear panels, while ivory-finished vehicle control knobs accent the dashboard.

The car is offered as part of the Gruppe P Part IV collection on dealer consignment in California with hand-written notes, a Karosserie Reutter Certificate of Production, a copy of the Kardex, and a Montana title.

It should also be noted that there is currently a lien on the car, and the current owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.

The auction ends on March 7 and the highest bid at the time of writing was $105,000 USD.
