BMW M135i xDrive

The BMW 1 Series has not yet undergone full M treatment, but the closest to it is certainly the M135i xDrive. The car comes with a series of mechanical improvements three years after the appearance of the basic model.

The Volkswagen Golf R and Audi S3 are already on the market, the Mercedes-AMG is preparing an improved A35, and BMW is responding with a compact hatchback. This is not a redesign, or Life Cycle Impulse (LCI), but a subtle evolution of the most powerful version of the Series 1.

The BMW M135i xDrive is offered in Individual colors, and in the photos the car is painted in Sao Paulo yellow. Others such as Frozen Pure Gray and Frozen Orange are also available. Improved springs and shock absorbers improve the car’s behavior on the road, especially in corners. Engineers also adjusted the rear and steering lever brackets on the rear axle, and the front axle was given a new hydraulic bracket to attach the front suspension levers. The slope is increased to better absorb the forces created by passing through bends.

The BMW M135i xDrive is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 302 hp (222 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission through which power is sent to all wheels. A limited-slip mechanical differential has been retained. It rides on 18-inch wheels, and a 19-inch set is optional.

Rare LaFerrari Coupe on auction

Auction house RM Sotheby’s has announced the sale of the LaFerrari Coupe. It is one of 500 units produced from 2013 to 2016.

The first owner bought the car in 2016 and has traveled less than 1,500 kilometers with it since then. The unique dark red body color (Vinaccia) is the detail that sets this LaFerrari Coupe apart from the rest.

The LaFerrari Coupe is powered by a centrally located 6.3 L F140FE V12 engine which in combination with the electric motor and KERS system produces a total of 950 hp (699 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Engine power is enough to push the two-seater to 62 mph in less than 3 seconds, to 124 mph (200 km / h) in less than 7 seconds. The top speed that a supercar can reach is 220 mph (350 km / h).

When it comes to price, the LaFerrari Coupe, Ferrari’s response to the ultrasports hybrid models of the McLaren (P1) and Porsche (918 Spyder), originally cost $ 1.5 million. It is expected to reach the auction price of more than three million dollars.
